How it started
One home kitchen. One question.
Why is it so hard to find a dog treat that's actually good for them?
Gunners Goodies grew out of a love of dogs and a simple frustration. Too many treats on the shelf were full of things Kelly couldn't pronounce, and the genuinely wholesome options were hard to find.
So she started making her own. The first batches of frozen fruit and vegetable treats came out of an ordinary home kitchen, with every ingredient chosen because it was good for dogs — and because dogs loved it.
Two and a half years on, Gunners Goodies is a small family business in Gaythorne, Brisbane. The kitchen is busier, the range is bigger, and there's a trailer at the markets. The rule hasn't changed: nothing goes in that doesn't need to be there.

We want nourishing, natural treats to be the normal choice for every breed, size and sensitivity. That means new flavours, more stockists across Queensland, and more custom options for dogs who can't eat the usual stuff.
